Standing Up Against Censorship: The Growing Threat to Internet Freedom in India

In recent years, India has seen a growing threat to internet freedom and free speech. The government has attempted to censor online content that questions the system, exposes corruption, and holds officials accountable. This censorship has been used to silence critics and stifle dissenting voices.

One of the major impacts of this censorship is the suppression of fact-based criticism and the promotion of fake publicity. This undermines the public's right to know and makes it difficult for citizens to hold their leaders accountable.

It is important for the public to stand up and speak out against this censorship. The government may have the power to control certain aspects of the internet, but they do not have the power to control the people. When the public is informed and engaged, they have the power to bring about change.

It is crucial for the citizens to be vigilant and active in protecting their rights to free speech and internet freedom. By speaking out and taking action, we can work towards creating a better environment for all and not just for a select few. The common people can change everything if they are interested in doing so. It is time to speak up and demand accountability from our leaders.

Recently, I came across something that truly shocked me—and as a conscious consumer, it was hard to ignore. A well-known Indian newspaper, available in print for ₹9 (clearly printed on the physical copy), was being sold on its official digital platform in PDF format for ₹25 . That's almost three times the printed MRP! Curious and concerned, I immediately contacted the customer support number listed on their site.
